Thursday the 2nd of January 2003DAY 7
Friday the 3rd of January 2003 DAY 8 (Albany)
Windmills of Albany
that power
at least 70%
of the towns power needs
More wind mills - wind power generators. Stems were made in Perth, the blades made in Germany, they are huge!
Great surfing beach, was sworn to secrecy of this location by a local surfer
Up the other end of the surf beach, the local surfer told me the winds were all wrong! And ya get that too!
The notorious GAP!
All checking out the plaque on survivors
The Natural Bridge
Looking across to the other headland
Imagine this place a 100 years ago and the 4WD tracks that could have been?!
Plenty of place to fall in
and possibly not get out
so be careful, hey?!
The survivors plaque
And heading for home Saturday the 4th of January 2003 from Albany Day 9
