Thanks goes out to the Iceman and Tanya for allowing members of West Coast to come up to their property at Gidgegannup and join in with the clubs Xmas get together, camp over night. A fairly good turn out considering the recent developments occurring within the club.

Ug Boot and camp

That evening a HUGE campfire was lit, one that would suppress <in size> any campfires lit over the year at many 4WD club trip campfires with Ice getting the appropriate fire permits for the day/evening. The meat was absolutely succulent, heaps of salad and the good liquid flowing along with the Cocktails. Great food, equally great friends to spend a very memorable evening with.

Sweets came last, and that was certainly a challenge finding that illusive pocket in the tummy to fit it all in, just magnificent. No where near as many flies and other insects as experience at Moore River in previous years, conditions very pleasant indeed. A nice circle of members around the campfire prompting some great conversations and Taddy doing his thing with everyone's warmer treatments - ya'd have to be there to see what I am talking about there! .

Jess and Ledger

In the morning, KC 1st to head off, had to get to the 4WD swap meet ASAP followed by Maverick about half an hour later. Fish and the Frogs last to leave, we got the grand tour of the 11 acres of Ice's property only to see Tanya on the back of the horse (Ledger) challenge Ice in his 100 Series to a race. Poor Tanya was bucked off the horse, did well to stay on as long as she did. Thank goodness only a bit of pride damaged and some minor cuts and bruises.

Many, many thanks again to the Hosts, Iceman and Tanya for putting on a grand evening and thanks to the members of West Coast, as without you guys and I mean this most sincerely, without you guys there is no West Coast 4X4 (Inc) 4WD Club. Please be proud to call yourselves West Coasters ;-) Thanks guys!
