Woke up the a perfect day, blue skies, very little wind. Called the mechanic to see how the Cruiser repairs were going and he said if all went well we would have the vehicle back by 10:00am. Unfortunately the inner bearing outside casing had welded itself to the stub axle, so no Cruiser yet.

Managed to get a hold of MacGyver and gave him an update, MacGyver and Pluto taking the group on the first day to the Doubtful Islands via the Gardner River and Gordon Inlet.

Rang Gadget who was still back in Perth and he was very kind to do some running around for me and organised a stub axle to be sent down which should arrive tomorrow about 11:00am via couriers.

Bullet and Rocky turned up just as we were about to head down to the rubbish tip to see if we could salvage a stub axle off a old Land Cruiser down there, but unfortunately no such luck.

So as not to waste the day, Bullet, Rocky, Bruno and families joined us for the day down at Blossoms beach.

Oh and Bruno's vehicle did get repaired and they all headed back to camp tonight. We are left stranded here in Bremer Bay for another day :-(
